Shooting and Hunting

Clay pigeon shooting is also readily available in the Isle of Whithorn, at very reasonable prices.

Wildfowl shooting is excellent in the area, with over 50,000 geese landing each year there are plenty to choose from.We have 5 species, Brent, Pink Foot, Grey-lag, Canada and Barnacle, and just very occasionally the odd lost flock of Snow Geese. Only Pink Feet, Canada and Grey-Lag geese can be shot - the remainder are protected!!

Duck shooting is also very popular in this area, which are in large numbers on the foreshore.

Permits for wildfowling can be obtained from Wigtown County Buildings, in the main square in Wigtown just 5 miles south of Cree Villa. or from Alan Wykes of        Wigtown Bay Wildfowlers, and Bill Cook of Creetwon Wildfowlers.

Deer Stalking is also available in the area.  We have a secured  5 gun cabinet.  We also provide a  large, warm and dry inside dog cage.  

We have drying facilities and can organise a cold storage and butchery house
